The hosteria (Inn) is an old Spanish colonial house built at the beginning of the last century: its masonry of thermic "adobe" (sun-dried mud bricks) is sometimes about one metre trick.

The open corridors and large patio invite you te enjoy a cool beer in the shade of old avocado trees, gum trees or palm trees.

The Restaurant-Bar tempts you with a generous coice of regional dishes such as "humitas", "tamales", "empanadas", "mondongo" stews, goat meat, traditional barbacue, rainbow trout, different cheeses and regional wines plus some desserts that will sweeten your mouth such as soft white cheese with sugar cane syrup or home-made "cayote" jam (a kind of local pumpkin) with walnuts... and lots more.

All rooms have a private bathooms, heating and acces to the swimming pool.

The nine rooms complete with private bath and view over the swimming pool are enveloped in the fragance of the flowes and the songs of a paradise for ornithologists
